Every dawn smiles at our faces with immense possibilities. Every minute caresses our
hearts with a handful of opportunities. Every moment presents us with innumerable
chances to know, learn, experiment, evaluate, accomplish and to excel. Wise is the one
who counts on time and grabs them gleefully. Time and tide waits for none; so too are
opportunities. They seldom knock at our doors twice. Hence we should keep our eyes and
minds always open to see, recognize and to utilize them.
Every opportunity presents itself to us as a challenge: a question to be answered, a
problem to be solved, a project to be fulfilled, a talent to be developed, a goal to be
realized, a value to be followed, an ideal to be achieved and so on. Accepting a challenge
involves a lot of risk, hard work, endurance and commitment. Avoidance of it is
cowardice and such one would never taste success.
Success is never a monopoly of a few. It’s within anybody’s grasp, who is prompt in
grabbing opportunities, accepting challenges and ready to work hard unwavering before
difficulties and failures. A clear vision, strong will and a pair of powerful hands, raring to
toil relentlessly, are the essential features of a successful man in the making.
For the idle and idiotic, nothing counts much. Nothing charms them either, not even
the success stories of others. Nor their own lowly pitiful existence ever comes back to
haunt them. They are happily settled in a fool’s paradise built upon the ashes of the little
pleasures they have, assuming themselves to be the masters of this earth born only to rule
and enjoy. They are the greatest enemies of time and humanity. Let’s not fall into this
category.
Time is the most precious gift we have in our hands. It’s in time we are born and are gone
as well. Making the best use of time is an act of will as well as skill. One who masters in
this art is immunized against failures. Anyone who wishes to be successful should always
make the best and prompt use of the time at hand, lest he should miss the opportunities
that come his way. Remember, Time and Tide Waits for None.
Wish You All, the Warmest Greetings of the Season.
